MEKA, who has made a name as a company providing cutting-edge automatization solutions, owns an advanced Control System consisting of WAMGROUP components which can be integrated with equipment. This system, which is used particularly in which are being filled with cement trailer, has been designed in a customizable way in order to fit conditions in the field.
The main reason of damage in and equipment is an overfill and excessive pressure occurring during the filling. Insufficient ventilation and level gauge errors, which cause excessive pressure, can lead to serious damages in MEKA’s Filling Control System prevents both excessive pressure and ventilation filter and equipment damages which can be arisen from overfilling.
Our control system, which is targeted to minimize component damages, automatically takes necessary precautions during the filling process, operates related equipment and alerts user when needed.
One of the main reasons of flawless operation of Safety System is the preference of WAMGROUP Level Indicator and Pinch Valve in our system.
Bin Level Indicator:
When material level reaches the measuring paddle rotation is blocked and when level sinks below the paddle radius rotation restarts and activates other system components. The top or side-mounted indicators are commonly used in powdery and granular material applications.
Pinch Valve Description:
The body of VM/VMM Pinch Valve is manufactured from aluminum alloy while the sleeves come in fabric-reinforced material. The sleeve support bushes are either made from aluminum alloy, hardened carbon steel or 304/316 stainless steel.
Pinch Valve Function:
VM and VMM-type Pinch Valves are used for interception of material flow in pneumatic conveying systems or in other pipelines. Moreover, they can be installed as a locking device for filling pipes.
1. Air pressure required to run the system must be checked. “AIR FULL” light will be on if there is an air pressure.
2. Filter of the to be filled must be activated by “FILTER” button.
3. Pinch Valve of the to be filled must be opened by “VALVE OPENED” button.
4. “FILLING START” light will become active when pinch valve is opened.
5. For initiating filling process, “SYSTEM START” button must be pushed.
6. Whenever required, “SYSTEM STOP” button must be pushed to stop the process.
7.FULL” light becomes active when cement reaches the level indicator. Audible and illuminated alarm goes on after 45 seconds and system automatically deactivates Pinch Valve.
8. To reset the filling alarm, “ALARM MUTE” button must be pushed.
9. To clean up cement left in the pipe, “MANUAL OPERATION” must be switched to position “1” while “ FILTER” is active. To open Pinch Valve of the related “VALVE OPENED” button must be pushed.
10. Left cement is cleaned up by pushing “SYSTEM START” button.

1-Top Filter:
Filter is a cylindrical shaped dust collector used for ventilation of pneumatically filled Dust, separated from the air by special filter elements, drops back into the after an integrated automatic reverse air jet cleaning system inside the weather protection cover removes it from the filter elements.
2-Adjustable Pressure Switch:
For safety purposes, the filter and the pinch valve control the required air pressure. System does not operate if there is no air pressure.
3-Pressure Relief Valve:
Safety valve is used to discharge excess compressed air inside the It prevents equipment damages due to excessive pressure in filled by cement trailer or pneumatic conveying system.
4-Alarm:
Audible and illuminated alarm is activated if the system needs to warn the user.
5-Level Indicator:
This device, which is used to determine the amount of raw material inside the , is also called as level indicator or level sensor. In each there are two sensors used to indicate upper and lower levels.
6-Pinch Valve:
In filling operations where cement trailer is used, Pinch Valve is installed on the filling pipe. It operates as a cover of the filling pipe. When the is full, pinch valve prevents further filling by closing the filling pipe.
7-Filling System Control Panel:
The system is operated by the control panel. level sensors, pinch valve, pressure sensor, compressor air and alarm conditions are monitored and controlled through the panel. The system is PLC controlled. Software and physical measures are taken for filling safety in the Waiting time and alarm conditions are set through the control panel.
