The Northern Marmara Expressway Project (Odayeri – Pasakoy Section), the construction of which is going on within the scope of the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge project, is one of the most important projects of our country. Within the scope of the project, Ilgaz Construction is performing the production, transportation and assembly of the pre-stressed prefabricated girders used in all viaducts, bridges, underpasses and overpasses located on the European Side.
Within the scope of the same project, the complete constructions of the V6-V14-V17-V22-V23-V24 viaducts, 3 of which are on the Anatolian Side and 3 on the European Side, are also being performed by the Ilgaz-Freysas partnership. The relevant viaducts with total length of 7 km will be built by the incremental launching method, which will be used for the first time in Turkey.
The foundations of the TEM Edirne-Karaagac Connection Road Project were first poured on July 14, 2013. It will connect the Pazarkule Border Gate, which is planned to be the 2nd passage point between Turkey and Greece, to the Edirne Beltway by a high standard road.
Within the scope of the project Meric Bridge, which is 2.100 meters long and has 57 spans, Tunca River Duplexing Bridge with the length of 220 meters, 8 other bridges (7 underpasses and 1 overpass) of different lengths and the Gazimihal, Yildirim and Fuar Intersections will be built.
Edirne project has 1650 bridge girders, 32,000 tons of steel and 225.000 m³ of. The TEM Edirne-Karaağaç Connection Road will use 42,000 meters of bored piles in C45-C55 classes, will pass over the Meriç and Tunca Rivers and connect to the Pazarkule Border Gate.
Ilgaz Construction was founded in Adana/Turkey and has started its activities in 1994. Today it is a leading enterprise specialized in production and transportation of pre-stressed/non-stressed girders, used in bridges and viaducts, their installation by launching girder, complete bridge and viaduct constructions and all types of prefabricated production. The project, that is conducted by Ilgaz Construction within the scope of the 3rd Bridge and Connection Roads, is planned to be completed and taken into service in October 2015, while the Edirne Project is planned to be completed at the end of 2014.
Within the scope of these projects, 3 plants were delivered by the solution partner MEKA, 2 of which will be used on Istanbul and 1 on Edirne construction sites. MB-120W Stationary , which is located at the Istanbul Uskumrukoy premises, is manufacturing high quality classes, like C35, C45 and C55 for the girders. At the Uskumrukoy premises 8 pieces of 1180 pre-stressed girders will be produced with total volume of 250,000 m³ of precast MB-120W Plant, which is located at the İstanbul Gokturk-Fenertepe premises, is manufacturing high quality classes, like C35 and C45 for the girders. At the Göktürk- Fenertepe premises 5 pieces of 1180 and 4 pieces of 1120 pre-stressed girders will be manufactured and used on the European Side
Meanwhile, the final plant that MEKA has delivered to Ilgaz Construction within the scope of the Edirne project is a C-120 Compact Batch Plant.
MEKA contributes to Georgia's hydroelectric developments by providing the M100 mobile concrete batching plant for two major power plant projects in the Guria region. With a production capacity of 100 m³ per hour and durable features designed for challenging environments, MEKA ensures efficient concrete production, reinforcing its commitment to excellence in global infrastructure projects.
MoreThe Tunisian company, one of the largest contracting companies in the country, which will realize the important highway project in Tunisia, did not want to take risks in this critical project and preferred MEKA MB-100W batching plant.
MoreThe Mexican aggregate production industry is evolving faster than ever.
