Roads in Tunisia Connect with MEKA Power Plants

The Tunisian company, one of the largest contracting companies in the country, which will realize the important highway project in Tunisia, did not want to take risks in this critical project and preferred MEKA MB-100W batching plant.

The MB-100W concrete batching plant, the installation of which was completed and commissioned in a short time, has started high capacity concrete production without any problems.

Operating in the first part of the 180 km Tunis-Jelma highway project, the MB-100W concrete batching plant with its 2.0 m3 planetary mixer ensures the desired homogeneity and quality of concrete mixtures in the shortest possible time.

MEKA planetary mixers, which are offered with Ni-Hard internal wear protection as standard, have a superior performance in terms of wear and operating costs.

The 4x25 m3 capacity in-line aggregate bunker with its steel legs design provides the advantage of ground level installation and minimizes concrete foundation costs. MEKA aggregate bunkers are manufactured in accordance with heavy-duty conditions, while their modular design and foldable side panels enable fast and safe installation.

The high-precision moisture measurement sensor in the bunker ensures accurate adjustment of the water ratio in concrete mixtures.

In addition, the aggregate pouring chutes, aggregate dosing bunker and aggregate weighing conveyor under the aggregate bunker of the plant are galvanized.

MEKA concrete batching plants, which are known for their long service life, offer a main chassis suitable for operation under heavy-duty conditions, corrosion-resistant paint and galvanization options as standard in the MB-100W model.

The MB-100W model has a 4m3 aggregate waiting hopper, which significantly increases the plant capacity.

The company officials stated that it was the right decision to choose MEKA concrete batching plants, which provide fast and reliable concrete production, for the Tunis-Jelma highway construction project, which is expected to be completed by the Tunisian government in a short time.
