Cement needs in West Georgia that has been met by the way of import for a long time will now be met by the plant created with the cooperation of world’s leading companies. Foundation of the new cement factory was laid in 2014 in order to be realized by the cooperation of globally well-known leading cement and aggregate producer Lafarge-Holcim and Leader Cement of Georgian origin. After tests and PAC certification, the factory was brought into use and it can produce 250-300 thousand tons of cement in a year.
Georgian company took action to realize the ready-mix production plant process by continuing to grow with the cooperation of Lafarge-Holcim and Leader Cement after the cement factory project in Poti province for which it had a strategy development plant consisting of multiple stages.

First of Lafarge-Holcim and Leader Cement (MEKA MB-120W) has been put into use in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia, with 120m3/hour production capacity. This new ready-mix plant and cement plant is believed to provide a great synergy in west Georgia.
MEKA MB-120W fixed s the only plant in Tbilisi and around that embodies this quality and properties according to EU standards and other special type cproduction.
