Bauma Short History

Bauma took place for the first time in 1954 under the name "Frühjahrsschau für Baumaschinen" (Spring Show for Construction ). At the Theresienhöhe in Munich, 58 exhibitors presented their products to 8,000 expert visitors on an outdoor space of 20,000 m². The name was still “Construction and devices for utilization”, but in 1956, bauma received its current name alongside the name "Deutsche Baumaschinen Ausstellung" (German Construction  Exhibition). At the same time, the number of exhibitors and the exhibition space doubled. In 1958, the first 13 exhibitors from abroad took part. In 2016, bauma turned into the biggest trade fair in the world. 3,425 exhibitors presented their product innovation on a space of 605,000 m². About 40% of the 583,736 visitors came from more than 200 countries. Bauma is the world’s leading sector event for construction , building material , mining , construction vehicles and construction equipment. With a total exhibition space of 605,000 square meters, bauma is also the largest trade show in the world. Bauma takes place every three years in Munich. This year the fair will take place on 8 - 14 April 2019

Bauma and MEKA Collabrates For the First Time

Since 2003, MEKA has attracted great attention at BAUMA. It is why MEKA participate with its high quality products to BAUMA every three year.

In 2016, MEKA showcased itsand screening products for the first time. MEKA has always joined Bauma with its new products. As in other years MEKA, will be proud to have the opportunity to present its products for the fourth time at the world's largest and most fascinating exhibition, Bauma-2019,Munich. This year, we will present you our latest designed Tracked Coarse Material Washer and Horizontal Screen tested and approved at our manufacturing facilities.

Vertical Shaft Impact  (VSI)

Vertical Shaft Impact (VSI)  are designed to be used in secondary, tertiary or quaternary stage . The  are suitable for a wide range of applications including the production of high quality manufactured sand, well formed aggregates and industrial minerals. can also be used for shaping or removal of soft stone from aggregate. Advanced alternatives with open table designs, multi-port rotor and larger bearings than many other VSI are the main reasons for our  to provide high value solutions and deliver high performance.

Horizontal Screen

MEKA Horizontal Screens are a combination of quality, reliability, and performance; providing a long service life while operating under the most demanding applications. Proven oval stroke design increases production, reduces recirculation load. Oval throw action makes MEKA screens virtually non-plugging and raises quality output. The ability to fine tune stroke angle, amplitude and speed adds versatility in meeting changing screening conditions. Extra-strong body construction, durable bearing mountings, computer designed chrome-moly-nickel gear set with premium metallurgy extend service life.

Coarse Material Washer

Coarse material washers are used to remove a limited amount of dirty material from a coarse aggregate. This material includes very water soluble slimes, silts, soft clay, and organic particles. They are often used as a final wash following a wet screen and are designed to scrub and clean gravel and stone up to 75mm (3’’) in size. Classifying is accomplished when coarse material containing dirty material that has a specific gravity less than the coarse material is floated upwards and carried over the adjustable weirs at the back of the . Both single and double spiral units are available depending on the capacity required.
