Recently there have been targeted efforts against MEKA customers to convince them to transfer funds to different bank accounts. Such efforts include sending emails that MEKA bank accounts have changed and any transfers should be made to new accounts.
To avoid being victim in any fraudulent activity we would like to remind you following notes:
Bank accounts for clearing contracts are clearly shown in our offers and responsibility for payments that are made to any other account lies completely with the money sender. As MEKA we do not take any responsibility for the amounts that are not shown in our company accounts.
Currently we are conducting our internal investigation to find if any information from MEKA servers have been used to conduct these attacks. In the meantime, we kindly ask you to revise your IT security settings.
