MEKA is proud to announce the delivery of a crushing and screening plant in WAKISO District, Uganda. It is no surprise that MEKA is becoming a reliable partner for many projects in Africa. Being able to engineer and manufacture the complete project in-house has allowed us to serve the quality and reliability expectations of our customers. 

Earlier deliveries in Africa were for crushing of hard,abrasive rocks like granite, basalt and also for softer rocks like limestone. Several plants were brought into operation in Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, Mozambique, Mauritius,Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Morocco, Algeria and the results have already surpassed the expectations.  

A CUSTOM SOLUTION TAILORED TO PROJECT 

MEKA plants can be used to solve problems of any complexity, such as working in difficult climatic and/or inaccessible areas with materials with a complex physical and mechanical structure. In addition to engineering, automation, manufacturing and delivery of the complete three-stage crushing and screening plant, MEKA supervised the mechanical and electrical erection, oversaw the cold and hot commissioning of the plant. 

PLANT DESIGN CRITERIA 

• Material processed is very hard and abrasive granite, 

• Feed material size : 0-700 mm  

• Plant capacity : 300 tph 

• 6 grades of products are produced,  

  0-25mm, 20-40mm,0-6mm, 6-10mm, 10-20mm, 20-25mm 

• Plant should be designed considering additional cone crushers and screens for future plant expansion.
